Whether you’re tracking your personal reputation or your business’ reputation, it’s important to know what’s being said—especially so that you can address reputation dings as soon as possible.

To this end, we’ve already detailed how to track your ego online, so give it a quick look if you’re interested in setting up a reputation monitoring system. Still, one of the best ways to take an active approach to your online reputation is to have a say in what Google says about you. We’ve been down this road before, but weblog Freelance Folder takes their own approach to your online reputation, detailing what you can learn from your online rep as well as a few of their own suggestions for what you can do if your reputation is in trouble. Got a few tips of your own? Let’s hear them in the comments.
